Jeep Sites of Interest
We don’t claim to be the end-all, be-all in the world of Jeep®, so we’d like to help you find sites you may have missed. And we’ve mixed it up to keep it interesting—a little old, a little new, some history, some mystery. We’ve even gone postal. Of course, your contributions are always appreciated. If you’d like to share cyber info with your fellow enthusiasts, send it to the webmaster. We’ll add relevant sites just as fast as we can.
- 4x4Now
- Psst...got a birthday coming up? You’ll love this site. Books and videos cover a load of off-road subjects and adventures. Maps, guidebooks, GPS units and accessories are just some of the tempting items available.
- 4x4 TrailHunters
- OK, so it’s not Jeep-specific, but these off-roaders exude so much energy we just had to include them. The site features trails (California only, as of this writing), videos (crazy dudes!), parts and a forum.
- 4x4 Wire’s Jeep Section
- Check this site for tech, restoration, modification, parts identification, events, history, rigs, trails and trivia.
- 7 Slot Grille
- Now for something completely different. This Jeep site not only provides the typical (forums, tech, product reviews, photos), it manifests its sense of humor with sections like “Good, Bad & Ugly,” “Jeep-tionary” and a “Jeep vs. Hummer Shootout” that actually made us laugh out loud. You’ll also find screen savers (with and without music), live chat and trail info.
- All Things Jeep
- And, boy, they are not kidding! Hats, T-shirts, posters, tire covers, bikes, toys, books, clocks, even stuff for your dog! If it's a Jeep-branded product you’re shopping for, look no further.
- The CJ3B Page
- Here’s the first of a trio of popular Web sites on one of the Universal Jeeps (see next two links). The largest and longest-established Jeep history site on the Web, The CJ3B Page is largely limited to the years 1953-68 but offers a wealth of accurate information: specs, tech tips, owners’ photos, literature, history and lots more. Our thanks to Derek Redmond (of the Great White North) for a great site.
- The CJ2A Page
- Inspired by The CJ3B Page, the second of the trio on Universal Jeeps offers forums, photos, specs, advertising, history, tech and news, with stuff for kids and grownups alike.
- The CJ-3A Page
- Finally, the third of the trio (see above links). The youngest of its siblings, the CJ-3A Page has info on how to date a CJ-3A, specs, stories and history, accessories, a serial number database and more. This (and its sister sites) is definitely worth a visit, especially if you’re not well acquainted with the early civies.
- Flatfenders.com
- This resourceful site focuses strictly on military and civilian flatfender jeeps and their repair and restoration. You’ll find wiring diagrams, paint and markings references, tech references drawings, exploded parts views and more.
- G503
- Not only does this site celebrate WWII Jeeps, it even provides photography and specs of the U.S. Army-issued tools with which the vehicles were equipped and even proper stowage! Step-by-step resto information, parts conversion, a serial number index for delivery dates for MBs and GPWs, events, a very active message board and more make this a terrific support site for military Jeep enthusiasts.
- Got Jeep?
- Here’s a fun place to spend a little time. Got Jeep? offers a fairly extensive photo gallery that includes specs on the vehicles pictured, as well as an interesting stat board. The site also provides tech and installation articles.
- Grand Wagoneers
- When it gets this esoteric, there just isn’t a lot from which to choose. Parts and accessories, apparel and vehicles for sale. Wagoneer fans, this site’s for you.
- International Full Size Jeep Association
- If you’re an FSJ owner, expect to find camaraderie here. The site features readers’ rides, a technical library, forums, chat, trail stories, humor, parts sources, ads and sales literature…all dedicated to these special Jeeps.
- J Journal
- Many enthusiasts are familiar with this veteran of Jeep Web sites, but in case you’re new to the sport, here ya go. It has boards, news, parts, classifieds, books, videos, a reference library, maps—in short, an array of Jeep stuff. It might be hard to look at, but worth a swim nonetheless.
- Jedi.com
- We’d bet that most Jeep enthusiasts would fail a definitive Jeep Model Designation test. That’s because there’s such a rich history of incarnations to commit to memory. This is a nice, succinct list with just enough supplemental information to help settle the info in your brain. Brush up today!

- Jeep Jamboree Canada
- Same concept. Different country. See above.
- Jeep Meetup
- This free service invites Jeep enthusiasts worldwide to meet with each other in their own localities at a predetermined time to share their common interest: Jeeps. Confused? We were, too, until we understood that Jeep Meetup encourages enthusiasts to be proactive in finding each other by looking to the Meetup Web site for scheduled dates and times (local time zones), then showing up at a democratically determined site to talk about Jeeps. Members are coming together in more than 600 cities in countries all around the world—from Antarctica to Vietnam. If you’re still confused, check it out. You may be very glad you did.

Yikes...we don’t know whether to laugh or cry! P.S. This site will also host your Jeep images for free.

- Jeeps @ Off-Road.com
- Off-Road.com was recently purchased by Advanstar Communications, but the editorial staff remains largely unchanged. Launched in the early ’90s, this site has forums, tons ’o tech and Q&A, with “back issues” dating to 2001.
- Jeeps Only
- Maybe more than you may want to know but an interesting way to spend your disposable time. Trails, clubs, forums, how-tos, Web Rings, online retailers, Web site tools and even more.
- Jeeps Unlimited
- We’ve been rooting for this site for a few years now and it’s finally gained some traction. Well-written editorial covers tech for most Jeep models as well as product reviews. Content is a lot beefier than it used to be. If you haven’t been here, we recommend a visit.
- Jeepz
