National Forests—4x4 Ops
If you’re not well acquainted with a particular national forest, it can be difficult to find 4x4 trails. The most direct way of getting reliable OHV information is to call or visit the local ranger district office of the forest you’re interested in. If you specify “Jeep” trails in your inquiry, the person you speak with won’t confuse you with the ATV or dirt bike crowd.
The links below have been verified as having 4x4 opportunities. We’re happy to point you in the general direction, but you’ll have to dig further once you get there. We think it’s worth the effort and hope you do, too.
