Erie Shores Jeeps & 4x4s Toys For Tots Trail Run

Erie Shore Jeeps & 4x4s held their annual Toys for Tots ride on December 2, 2006, in conjunction with Painted Rock off-road park in Mount Perry, Ohio.

About 70 vehicles showed up for the ride, then broke into several groups including one large group of about 30 vehicles. Participants brought lots of toys, which were given to local children.

The run followed tight trails, with plenty of hills to climb and some slick mud—just the kind of trail running that requires you to keep your wits about you. The park also features an obstacle course for drivers to test their driving skills.

The group experienced a few breakdowns and a couple of flat tires, but fun was had by all. At day’s end, lots of door prizes and a 50/50 raffle were on tap, along with food and refreshments for everyone.

Erie Shores Jeeps & 4x4s is a member of the EC4WDA. The club tries to do a couple charity rides each year for the Make-A-Wish Foundation and Toys for Tots Foundation. Visit Erie Shores Jeeps & 4x4s on the Web for upcoming events.
